Munich (2005) - 4/5

Munich (2005)

A seemingly controversial fictional tale inspired by real events. It's a sad story on the large and small scale from countries to individuals.

I like the realism of the life of a 'spy/assassin.' It's so unglamorous and unattractive. The cost is high for everyone and shows how it can be somewhat fruitless if not counter productive. Who's to say what's effective?

A very well made movie, but an unfortunate event/topic. It makes it hard to write the...

Delicatessen (1991) - 4/5

Delicatessen (1991)

Great acting and directing. Somewhat of a light Terry Gilliam.

The characters are great and developed so well w/ so little dialogue. Everything was so unique and interesting. I liked how so many things are left unexplained, unanswered and unresolved. I don't go looking for that, but I like when they the filmmakers don't feel the need to wrap everything up.

Sometimes it's necessary and sometimes it's necessary not to. It's great when they know the difference.

The Heartbreak Kid (2007) - 2.5/5

The Heartbreak Kid (2007)

I found this funny but part of that cd be b/c of very low expectations. Ben Stiller plays the same character he's played in most of his movies: frustrated loser.

I think the chemistry works and there's some funny situations.

The Farrelly brothers do their usual stuff which can be funny at times.

Warning: Nudity and such.
